Thumbs up The Ultimate Lightning Induction System Gets Even Better

PSP is pleased to announce that the ultimate Lightning filter setup, the PSP FASTair Induction System, is now even better.

We are now making the filter boxes out of lightweight aluminum. These new boxes have a box section made out of one sheet of aluminum, folded, with only two tig welded seams. The aluminum material will not rust so it will hold up to the elements better. The weight saving people will like them as well. Our previous steel boxes weight 5 pounds each; our new aluminum boxes weight less than ONE pound! Also, the boxes can be polished for a show type truck.

We are going to offer the FASTair now in three finish options. The standard black wrinkle powdercoat for the current retail price of $200, natural aluminum for those who want to polish or use their own finish for $190, and the option to have a powdercoat color other than the black wrinkle for $210. This option change is not on the site yet, so if you want a different finish than the standard black wrinkle, just put it in the comments.

PSP...Engineered to be the BEST

Sal,

I think when we talked in BG, that you said the older
shorter filter actually produced more HP. Is this still
available? I know there was a competitive reason you
had to counter the "size matters" crowd, but if I update
to the FastAir, I would like to have the most HP for the
buck. If that means the 9" filter, so be it ...

Thanks,

Cliff

sal said the shorter filter indeed is better, but the masses are so blinded by everything that no one would buy them, thus the selling of the bigger filter

Sal: Good idea ! Any thoughts as to offering just the aluminum box for your 'old' customers? I'll understand if you can't but......and are the shorter filters still available?

I will sell just the box to existing customers.

As for the filter issue, it wasn't the smaller filter that worked better, it was my hand fabricated intake tube that made that old setup work so well. It just happened to use a 9" filter at the time.

Good point - Is there a box for the old style filters to keep the engine/header heat away ??

Maybe they make so much more power we dont need the box...

Sal

Is that "other" material we spoke of at Cecil going to be available?
