What we really have is known as an aftercooler. The NX kit just drops the intake temperature on the air after the supercharger presurizes it, theoretically allowing more oxygen into the mixture (colder air is more dense with oxygen than hotter air). This could be benifitial or could be very harmful depending on the current tune your engine has. If you are running close to lean as it is then drop the temp - - - - - KABOOM!!!!!!!
