If it's snake oil how do you explain Lightninrods gain of 4.7 horsepower and 20.1 foot pounds of torque with it?? He dyno'd it the same day with it connected and with it disconnected

i'm not starting a ****e throwing match, but i've seen and or heard the exact same number, but they didnt gain anything they lost that amount.

so say what you want i could really care less, i just don't believe that $200+ so something that "might" work is worth it.

that $200+ is better sent else where, plus the damn thing is ulgy

Lightninrod's pulls were done about 10 minutes apart if I remember correctly so you have a heat soak factor. He did the first pull with the Plasma Booster and the second without it hooked-up. The second pull would have been heat soaked to a certain degree and that would explain the loss of 4.7 hp. The 20+ ft.-lbs. of torque is explained by the fact that the second pull started about 500 rpm later than the first pull - after the torque curve began to come down.

The only way to truly test it would be to do several pulls with it connected and several with it disconnected with cool off time between pulls and then take an average of those pulls (figuring three is a good number to average)...and this is exactly what I did. In fact, I dynoed the thing twice in a week's span just to verify my findings (10 pulls total with it either connected or disconnected). My advice...save your $200.

I could be the guy PI is talking about....I ran my truck with it hooked up first pass and unhooked it second pass and my truck picked up 4 or 5 horse on the second run. Traditionally it makes less power on the second run and both runs were done pretty much back to back.
