Crashed Saleen

I just heard my friend crashed his sweet Saleen into a ditch. He's fine, but he was trying to do a burn out and wasn't shifting right but he couldn't hear it because of his music. The thing spun out of control and went into a ditch. Damn that thing was sweet, I spent all weekend checking it out. It's about a year old and still smells of leather. Plus a vortech super charger. Haven't talked to him yet but I will definatley throw some pic's up here.
BTW-he's 17. Yes, 17 and a supercharged saleen. Or, used to have it anyways.

Its not age, its maturity. I got my L when I was 16, but I respect the power it has, and take good care of it. I go to school 5 days a week, and work 30 hours a week on top of that at 50 cents over minimum wage to mod my Lightning. If you have brains, and aren't going to do stupid stuff like a burnout next to a ditch(no offense to your friend, but... next to a ditch? That's not too smart. If I were to do a burnout, I think I would pick an open parking lot where if I lost control, nothing would be in the way except open pavement), then age shouldn't matter!

Well, he managed to not do anything to it for over a year. He just couldn't hear the shifts (as is my understanding) while doing something stupid. Not too sure how much damage is done but I don't think they would keep it regaurdless of if he gets a saleen again or not as his dad "does not buy used cars"

That sucks too, he was supposed to race this, hmm, how better to put it, pompous but spineless jerk's blue 03 cobra.

I don't have the full story yet though. He's a good driver and has been perfect with the damn thing. He's not stupid either, I will find out tomorrow and try to get some pics.

Well, guess it's better to be a spineless, pompous jerk with an intack 03 Cobra than to be a kid with a Saleen in a ditch.....sure don't know what "hearing the shifts" has to do with planting your car in a ditch.......there is this thing called a brake.

Why have the music up while your doing that anyway? Wouldn't you wanna hear the sweet "music" of squeeling tires? I'm 18, and whenever I'm racing or in any situation other than cruising, I always turn my beat down...stupid
