Question Bed Cover

Has anyone purchased one of these bed covers? http://checkerpro.com/checkmate_fx.html Do you have any pictures? What do you all think of it as far as quality, good buy or should I look somewhere else? Thanks!

That looks sweet. I guess thats paint able? Does it have any locking mechanisms? If thats lockable, and paintable, im all up on it! I love the flat look, but I want a hard cover thats lockable.

Yes it is paintable, it comes standard with a latching mechanism and locks are optional. I our case though because we have lockable tailgates the latchs are good enough to make the bed secure.

Quality is poor, but they are cheap and light weight. I'm pretty sure they are still drill install.

Thumbs down

I had one on a truck that I sold. They are cheap made. In my opinion I would look elsewhere.

i have researched it a little more and found a couple of other companies. The first is http://www.calconcepts.com/SolidBedC...lushmount.html, but down at the bottom it say no full size ford. I'm not sure if that means they don't make them for fords or that this compnay just doesn't sell them for full sized fords. The second was http://www.davestonneaucovers.com/toppage2.htm and there looks a little more ghetto but still a good product. If you clip on the hyperlinks you'll see more pictures of specific features of the top. Always, I'd like to know if any of you all have had any experience with either of these products or have any opinions on them. Thanks!
