I have an early 01 lightning that has 37,400 miles on it. I recently installed a 6 lb. pully, 3 stage diablo chip, airraid filter, hot plugs and a valve body. Within a week my transmission is giving my problems. When it is in overdrive it will hardly move, out of overdrive it seems fine. Ford is giving me a hard time because of my warranty and chip. The performance place is taking a wait and see attitude. This is a J1 Transmission I understand they made several service upgrades. Can you guys give me some feed back to help me get ford or the performance shop.

 

You need to hear from Factory Tech(resident trans. expert) but he won't know your thread is trans-related from you title. I would start another one with a title like : "01 L Trans--won't move when in O/D--what's wrong?"
