Angry My work day WAS gonna be awesome today

I was going to get to go on a test drive of this HUGE beast

BUT everyone backed out on being able to cover for me today.
I know its just a big over-grown land yacht, but it would've been cool.
A purpose-designed 6.75-litre V12 offers ample power and huge reserves of torque combined with exceptional fuel economy: headline figures include the 5.7 seconds it needs to sprint from 0-60 mph and the 25.7 mpg (11.0 ltr/100kms) it returns over the EU extra urban fuel economy cycle. Maximum power is 453 bhp (338 kW) with peak torque of 720 Nm (531 lb ft) reached at 3,500 rpm. More significantly, 75 per cent of that torque is available from 1,000 rpm.
I try and get some pics posted form the guy that invited me. He's got a 550 pinafarina, 911 TT, 355....you get the picture.
I'm still working on trying to get someone to cover, that way I can ride in the 550, maybe even drive it

THAT is killer. What a pimp car. I would love to drive that. I miss our old Thunderbird. So of all the sport cars he owns your driving the big one? Or have you driven them already?

That looks sweet. I dont buy the 25 mpg BS tho. hmmm factor in huge car and huge engine. Maybe its got some special setup to make it fuel efficent. But i dont see that thing getting over 10 mpg when someone it getting on it

Sweet ride non the less

Ray

RF what do you do for a living? Between the 900 hp 32 valves and the 300k cars do you want an apprentice or intern?

Uh, heh, heh heh...
err... uh heh heh heh...

well, lets see,
It is more plush than the finest HD or KR,
It is phatter, both in girth and personality than what u drive, or me either(don't get bent).
For the 4x4 guys, focus on the 400ft/lb. Torque, and that is just off idle 1K rpm.
For all you lightnin "racers" have a look at the 0-60. And just how many horsies are under your hood?
We dont' need to talk about the accessories that come with something like that, do we?

I mean, what good is money if you don't spend it?
Really now, what are you gonna do, give it to your kids?

A customer of mine just bought a Jag XJ something with a Supercharged V8

O-60 in 5.3 I believe he told me
( I do that in 3.45 sec's now )
I also believe he said either 390 HP or maybe even 4 something ?

He hates it, it drives like a truck he said, got 20's I believe with low profile tires, he said he feels every bump. He brought it up to 135 and said the expansion joints in the road were like speed bumps so he went back to the dealer and complained of the harsh ride and they said, why don't you let some air out of the tires

He's pissed, I know him for many many years and he's always driven a white Jag Convertible, so he does know what to expect, he said he wishes he had his old one back now

Naturally aspirated V12 6.749L 411.8ci 531lb-ft TQ.
As usual no camera, but for those of you that live in San Jose they have 2 at the Los Gatos Rolls/Bently/Aston/Ferrari dealer.
Black and a Ice Blue. Don't buy the Black one I have good knowledge it's been beat on .
As for whats the big deal:
To expand on what Weezell said, I don't get to drive or ride in $300k cars everyday. So it was cool for me.
If that is an everyday thing for you than MORE POWER TO YA BROTHER . AND if you do I have a mod motor that will diffentely make you the top Gen II L in the country Guaranteed.

Oh ya cyntaxx - Golf Professional

Where I live I see cars like that at least a few times a day. There is a place a few blocks from my house called 310 Motoring. They do up cars for most of the rap stars and NBA players. These guys take a new "Roller" and put 22'' wheels and other god awful things on them. Money is no object to these people. I see so much of this stuff that I HATE big chrome wheels. There are so many of them around here that lots of people are wanting to go back to stock wheels, just to be different. Skip
