Truck went on a diet!

SVTED made me jealous... Put my truck on a diet tonight. First thing off was the hitch and the spare tire along with the crank assembly to lift/drop the spare.

Next I took off the tailgate!

This kinda looks empty!

The next step is to trade me your heavy 20s for my lighter stock 18s straight up!

Actually... the real reason? Since my truck is going into the body shop anyway, because of my little fender bender incident... I decided I'd pop on one of these...

Yup.. that's right... a Sir Michael's Roll Pan w/ Smooth Endcaps! YEAY! I can't wait. Reason for taking the tailgate off was because im going to smooth the handle, and the little bar at the bottom so the body shop doesn't charge me for that prep time! Pics to come when the truck is out of the shop, and after I install 2" Hangers tommorrow too!

Hey Rob,

The little crank assembly is prolly 5-10 pounds at most. But hey, thats 5-10 pounds less than I had before... ... I figured if I can't use the spare with the roll pan on there anyway, might as well drop the other 5-10lbs of the crank.
