Talking First Time at Track

I met up with latemodelracer early and ran at Holiday Beach Drag way in between tuscaloosa and Birmingham AL. My truck is still stock but had a good time anyway .

My first run..
reaction---.949
60 ft--- 2.065
594ft--- 8.397
1/8---- 8.958

second run
reaction---1.068
60 ft---2.139
594ft--- 8.496
1/8----9.058

third run
reaction---.946
60 ft---2.029
594ft---8.400
1/8----8.968

the temp was 80* out and muggy , but i am still happy with my stock truck.

Like Don said, its all about having a great time

Jwasted, its hard to say because you will have more power, but more power = less traction. Its a vicious cycle

I usually go on the secod or third yellow. It was just test n tune so it didnt matter. How much is a good cool down worth? I tried flooring it the next to last run and all it did was wheel hop. So rolling into it was the best launch i could do.
