Unhappy New Fog light problem

I bought 2 new Foglights for my 2000 Lightning from 50Resto.com

They look great. But there is a problem. The connector to connect to the truck isn't even close. Anyone know where I can get these at so I can put new ones on. I don't want to splice the wires if I don't have to

Why not cut the connector off the old factory lights and splice onto the new lights? That way you don't cut into the factory wiring?

These look like the same ones I bought from www.mustangsunlimited.com. Hope you have better luck than I have. Yes, they do look great, but my first set cracked after a month of use. By someone's suggestion on here, the second set I drilled some holes in the back of each lamp to allow some of the heat to escape. Just noticed yesterday that one of the new ones (2 weeks old) has cracked!!!

I am currently looking for a replacement - something other than the Ford stuff - can't believe they want $80 for the factory replacements.

Oh, to answer your question, I did have to cut off the ground connector (one that attaches to the back of the lamp) and install a larger one. You will also need to bend the upper tab on the top of the lamp back some to allow it to snap into the upper clip.

You mean like an adaptor between the Lightning harness and the Mustang Light?

My bad, didn't understand your question, must have been the or the or both
