Need advice on valve covers

Hey Guys,
I will post a three pictures to get you up to speed on my questions. Here goes
first the truck

Now the intake and blower

I also have a red Razors Edge Powertube.

What should I do about the valve covers? Should I paint them red and trim them in yellow as the painter wants or just repaint them black.

You will die to hear me say this, " But I fear doing the covers red and yellow will be too much!".

The bolts on the blower are being changed out for black ones and a smaller pulley is coming.

Thanks for your idea's and help. I tried getting custom covers made but did not have any luck.

I have spent almost a half-hour searching for someone's painted(black) cam covers and can't find them. They looked great and I think would set-off the red/yellow combo you now have.

Go with the red and yellow, that's what makes you the dogleg! Don't stop a good thing.

I would do the valve covers red, and paint the fins on top yellow, with the red in the valleys.

Ah man... As much as some may say your truck looks funky with those colors, I think it looks badazz! I love how it stands out, and I love those racing stripes!

I can't wait to see the finished "product"

Looks great Just remember, there are people here, that their only goal in life (Its sure seems that way) is to knock peoples idea's and their trucks.

It's nice to see somebody make their truck stand out from the rest. As yours surely does

You got that right Bruce. I say f*ck em to each his own. Your truck do what you want. I was gonna do silver racing stripes at one point on my truck. But im with how Sal said to paint them.
