I may be wrong but isnt EGR system warrantied as part of emissions system ?

I understood there was additional warranty for that

Hope you get it resolved either way Jerry .... Like many others I have had the JDM/Kooks headers for a long time and had no issues. As a matter of fact just got my truck inspected with all the mods on a few weeks ago

I want to thank you all for your replies.
I'm going to bring it in for service and see if they can fix it. From what Chris and Joe said mabe it's not the exhaust that is causing the problem but just making it show up.

Thanks again, this is what makes this board the BEST there is no matter what others say.

Jerry

Yes no problems here either and i have had mine on since last july. Also got mine inspected recently with all mods on and passed inspection . Im guessing like everyone else is its an EGR problem and might be why there are only a few trucks that are having this problem. I know that Daniel(thepawn) has been running the full meal deal exhuast on his non chipped truck with no SES light.

I had 2 DPFE sensors go out on me within six months and it made
the truck feel like it was missing in all RPM ranges especially in
the low range. Ford told me it is a very common thing for it to go
bad
