I'm sure as hell not going to tell and be the bearer of the big let down.

besides, someone already guessed it

It's sort of an inside joke between Rob and I.

You see at Cecil, as soon as anyone looked under my hood, they wanted to know what that thing was.

that was literally the first question out of every mouth.

So rob took some pics and figured he'd post them and let everyone drool over "the latest must-have speed mod". the kicker is that I ran a 15.0@105 last weekend with this thing on there. works great huh...

so what size collector gaskets do I need to order for my JDM/Kooks headers?

it looks like they offer 2 1/2", 3", and 3 1/2" sizes.

Chris, you should be able to get copper ones at your dealership.

When I had my transmission replaced they also replaced the collector gaskets with the copper ones. The dealership that I went to is a Ford Mortorsport Dealership or whatever Ford calls it now.

They are 3" if I remember right.

It looked like a big fuse to me in the one pic I saw, so I thought it meant Rob was getting a real stereo?

Well it it was a magnet thing, i dont see any -AN guage stainless lines, which to me, would be suicidal for not using it. Then having to swing the lines out and in.. So, no, nothing to do with the fuel whatsoever, stereo, yes.

Why arent you guys using Stage 8 locking header bolts?

Chris being from the 5.0 days should KNOW better then to use paper gaskets and supplied header bolts. Word " MAC " comes to mind.

Ford Gasskets and Stage 8 work well.

As for the alumn gasket for the collector good info. I would invest in headers with Ball/Socket hookups myself.
