Now I read this I'm not going to pay big $$$ to have a exhaust leak. I gave up headers 20 years ago because I was sick and tired of changing gaskets.

Now do I still want headers???

I've got 20k miles on my headers and I've only blown an exhaust gasket once when racing.

Thanks, on the way. Plus I ordered some wheel rim screws for my slicks.

I hope this is the last set I have to install.

Hey Guys,
I've since gone to the stock header gaskets with zero problems. I thought I had exhaust leaks but an exhaust leak and a plug thats about to blow sounds exactly the same. I've since blown two plugs.

I'll have them check the plugs also.

The stock gaskets have been installed for about a year, now I hear a exhaust leak on the drivers side. My passenger side has held up, The drivers side is the one that keeps developing a leak.

We clean the old gasket material off the headers and heads each time we put new ones on.

I'll try the Percy's this time.
