Computer Reset ? opinions

Are you guys reseting the Comp when you goto the track ?
Does it really make a differance if you do?
Those with chipped trucks does manufacturer of chip make a diff whether you reset or not?

Thanks in advance

I think i read sopmewhere that it resets the adaptive fuel tables.
But at WOT, I think it is just reading the tuner tables for the
fuel settings.

Just in case, I reset mine ... Since I switch to the race program anyhow.

Tuners?

Yes, reset your PCM at the track. Sal(and I think the other tuners too) says to do it.

Only reset your computer if you are running a chip... resetting if you are not running a chip could have adverse effects until the computer re-adjusts. If you do not have a chip and have ever had your battery disconnected, you probably noticed it takes a day or two for the truck to start running "normal".

THANKS

So only chipped trucks should do this no matter what brand of chip also after every run or just before the first run @ track

Thanks again all
