I think a motor with ported heads/aftermarket cams should be closer to 500/600, even with the stock blower. Then again, you do have to use crappy gas out there, so who knows. Do you have modmax, crower, or comp cams?

If you are measuring horsepower with a roller inertia dyno (i.e. dynojet) than wheel inertia makes a difference. Horsepower is calculated by the acceleration of the drum of a know inertia. The heavier the rims the more energy required to spin them, the less of the energy goes to accelerating the dyno drum.

Hope this helps!

that is a very good point

Ditto. 20s will not effect your #s that much

it does seem a little low.

I have no idea as to what timing he ended up with, however, the numbers are corrected on a dynojet. I do remember him saying that he could not go much lower if that helps any.

I purchased CNC ported and polished heads and modmax cams PSP. I have the cam spec sheet, however, I am not sure which numbers are relevant

You think aftermarket cams and heads are worth 100HP?
