100,000 Miles

Turned 100,000 on the way to work this morning and it's still going great. I had planned to take a picture of the odo/speedo showing 100 MPH when it changed, but I forgot my camera! (and I was in a jam on I-96 when it changed).

Exhaust noise (leaking left manifold gasket), steering 'clunk' (fixed w/ Herb's washers), broken seat back (too much acceleration?) and 2 intercooler replacements are my only problems. Have been through 3 sets of tires and 2 sets of brakes.

There have been rumors that Spike Engineering, Dreamin, High Risk and some truck for sale on e-bay have more miles, but I haven't seen hard numbers.

On to 200,000 miles!

jesus ... I was beginning to have doubts about the Lightning being able to last. Maybe you just got lucky

So far i've had the passenger head replaced twice, #7 and #8 piston and rods replaced, numerous coilpacks replaced, the clunk fixed, the spare tire thing replaced, and one fog light replaced. All this and the truck only has 33k miles on it [sigh].

I was sad to see my truck turn 10,000 about 2 months ago.

I'm at 76k, don't know if I'll make it to 100k by years end. I need to get a beater also.
