Question for Doetsch Tech Shock users...

Did you get washers, bushings, and nuts for the rear shocks? Mine did not come with either of these, as I found out when I went to install them today! Ordered my shocks from sporttruckdirect, and this just really pisses me off! Pay good money for stuff, and not getting the right stuff! Also, the part number on the box, is totally different than the part number on the shock!

Hey. I have 4078G's in the front and 4180G's in the back. I was told the 4078G's were best for a 2"-4" drop. Right now I have 2" belltech springs in the front and these ride great! I plan on doing Western Chasis 2" control arms in front too, so these shocks will still be awesome!

My shocks did NOT come with the parts that were needed. I had to go to Lowes and buy all the washers and nuts to complete the install. I found it rather irritating as well, but the shocks are such a deal that I couldn't really complain.

I called up SportTruckDirect the same day. They shipped the pieces I need same day free of charge. I would rather use the pieces that are made for the shock, rather than throw together my own...

I just got my shocks like 30 minutes ago via UPS.

One question. What is the difference between the 4069Gs and the 4078Gs? They sent me the 4069Gs and now I am curious as to which I should have.

I think I just found my own answer.

According to the Doetsch Tech webpage the proper applications on our trucks are as follows:

Front-
0" drop - 4069G
2" drop - 4069G
4" drop - 4078G

Rear-
2" drop - 4248G
4" drop - 4180G
6" drop - 4112G

Hope these help people out.

that is for a regular f150. don't we need to take into account the extra 1" for being an L. so a 2" drop on an L would be 3" for a regular F150. that puts us right between the two.
