2LB'er, Chip, Filter, Installed!

WOW~

What a difference these mods made. My stock boost gauge says 14psi and this truck now pulls and pulls and pulls.

Thanks JDM for waking my truck up

Boost comes so quickly now, and the blower whine is incredible.

I noticed my exhaust tone changed very slightly. Did anyone else notice this? It sounds a bit more throaty....

My stock gauge only reads 10 10 psi

I didn't notice a difference in exhaust with the 4#der

The change in tone is due to the chip. When I change from my PSP chip to the JL one I notice a change in exhaust tone at idle.

Yeh, In no time you'll be ready to ditch that wimpy 2 pound pull for a 4 pound pully, then you;ll want a 6 pounder. I am at the 4 pounder, and am going to resist further tempation

Then the 8#er , which BTW Jim@JDMs yells at me all the time for having on a stock block. Of course I did promise him I would take it off. That was 5 months ago though. HMMMMM........

I'm part of the JDM crew now

Soon I'll do an e-fan and R pump, but I'll have to learn how to launch with the power I have now lol

I will post times Sunday night, I am going to the track to see what I can run

I went with a 2 because I'm afraid of putting a hole in my block.

There are a few guys around who run 12's with a 2lb'er, and that is my goal.

Plus, I don't want to overspin the blower, and on top of that, it gets to 30-40 degrees in the spring and fall, and with a 4lb'er or 6lb'er, the truck might detonate severely

Any suggestions for my next mod other than a pulley?

You guys are a cool bunch!

Cheers

I got it, I got it, I don't got it

I finally got my exhaust done last week and this week threw on an Air Force One filter and a strong Superchips chip. Had a 2 lbr left over from my Lightning and try as I would, I could not find a place to put it on my Wood. What am I doing wrong, I even took the survey
