bike guys, input on these wheels

thought i'd post this hear as a lot of guys are into the bling,

i want something different (as usual) but to my amazement, aftermarket bike wheels run between 2 and 4k for a set.

I want something different, but don't wanna spend those kind of bucks.

sportchrome said this might look good for what i'm wanting, he said in the light, it'd be brighter also

here is a pic of the candy copper, and a pic of my bike below, basically i'd be getting my stock wheels done.

what do you think?

and a pic of the bike it'd be on

I say go for it! The companies name is SportChrome? Never heard of it...definately a better alternative to anodizing. Perhaps I could do my L wheels...hmmm

Are the bike's wheels aluminum? If so why not just polish them. It is not that hard to do and if done right looks better than chrome to me. A company (forgot the name) just came out with a spray that will keep it from tarnishing for a gaurenteed 2 years. Might want to consider that also! If you need some instruction on how to do it email me, I did my whole bike's frame and it turned out great.

I too like the polished look of aluminum better then crome, if done right.

You can look at my gallery, my ninja. You can do something like that to your wheels. I use Cycle Care product (On line only to order) does a great job I think on keeping my wheels protected from what ever they come in contact with. Takes me about 45min per wheel to polish them out, and it last about a riding season.

i really don't care for polished now that i've had chrome, i had polished wheels on my cobra and loved them, but the look and care of the chromes on my l was much nicer i thought.

i may still go with my original idea of gold plating, that would be the bling!
