NEWS FLASH

I just got off the phone with JJ, he is running the show for Johnny Lightning. He told me that he talked to Bill of the SuperStallions and that tomorrow is a go!

He told me the forecast is the rain clearing by 6 in the morning and Cecil will make EVER effort to dry the track. If the rain settles in for an all-day affair, its party time in Cecil. But it looks good for a day of racing.

There is NO rain date and NO money will be refunded

Chance of a shower 'till 6am @ Rising Sun MD.
That's only a CHANCE.
We will be OK for Saturday. The sun should be out by noon. We will have a tail wind of 20 mph with gusts of 35. Stronger gusts in the afternoon.

Well schitt. I'm gonna set the alarm for 3am, look at the weather forecast, and if it looks reasonable i'm gonna drive the big 5 to meet everyone. If it's pretty questionable i'll go to Petersburg, Va and run instead (hope this choice doesn't happen) Ronbo, i hope it works out man. By the way, how far is JJ's shop from Cecil? Is this his testing track?

JJ works out of Gaithersburg, MD now. I'd say it's at least 1.5 hours away, just guessing... but we all use Cecil here Even if it takes a drive.

Rain or shine, I'll be there. At least it'll be a day to meet up with other owners in the rain, even if we can't race.

Ok so whats the deal, are we still meeting on the NJ Turnpike @ 7:30 am

I have no clue where I'm going and have no directions, so you guys better be there or I'm dead. I believe I'm gonna make my way over the Var Bridge, follow the Staten Island Expwy to the outer Bridge Crossing I think they said, take that south to the NJ Turnpike, then take that til the Local and Express lanes meet, then I'm gonna see this rest area we are meeting at ???

Sound good ?

My guess is I got a good 2-1/2 to 3 hours to make it that far,
and NO CELL PHONE

Hey V, give you your Cell number so I can at least call someone if something comes up (you never know when a plug will spit)

Can't wait to meet all you guys

I'm sure you all can't wait to meet a
bald fat old man with a big mouth

TIME TO ROCK ALL

Its a piece of cake Rob.
Like you said, where the car lanes and truck lanes merge, there a major rest area. From there due south on the NJ pike over the Delaware Bridge, thru Delaware to exit 100 in Maryland (Rising Sun)

Hell I can drive that wasted

The weather will be excellent for racing
