Do you Empty your Nitrous Tank "Before Refilling"

I need to get it filled for Cecil and when I open the valve I seem to still have a schitt load of pressure and weight. Yet even with a heater it seems to only go to 850-900 PSI
10lb Bottle and I have juiced it at least 10-12 times so far

Ok so I'll go for the $40.00 to MAKE SURE I'm completely filled for it's voyage 1/4 run, the question is do I open it up and let it empty into the air BEFORE bringing it in for refill ???

And if I don't is it one of these deals where they just top it off and charge me $39.00 bucks anyway ??

The most important answer I need is
Will I get a better fill completely empty
"OR"
bring it in while it still has liquid and pressure in it ???

Thanks Hank

Empty it out before you get it filled. Also, if your freezer has room, put the bottle in there for about 20 minutes or so then take it to the refill station. Always always always make sure the bottle is empty before a refill.

I don't see how it matters. I fill bottles and never never never tell a customer the bottle must be empty. I charge by the pound. If the bottle weighs 15lbs to start and I put in 5 pounds. The charge is $17.50 plus tax.
If the bottle pressure is too high then I put the bottle in a freezer to cool it so the pump can pump nitrous into the bottle. If it is cool outside this usually doesn't need to be done.
If the store who refills your bottle says the bottle must be empty or they want a flat fee go somewhere else.

They should weigh it for the fill. The average is 3.00 per lbs. If they just top it off, they should only charge for the weight added. 10 lbs at 3.00 per lbs. is 30.00 for a full fill.

I thought I was cheap. $3.00 per pound is awesome. The nearest place to me charges $5 pound to ricers and $4 for domestics.

sulfer scrubber == cheap

Getting rid of the sulfer is simple

There is no reason to empty the tank. They should be charging you by the pound and you typically never want any compressed cylinder to be at atmospheric pressure (humidity can be a problem)

No reason to empty it out. Normally there will be about 2 pounds left in the bottle that will not some out. You should only have to pay for 8 pounds when you get the bottle filled since that is all that you needed. That is what my bottle filler does anyways. So Rob are you still planning on running at Cecil this weekend??
