I have talked to Don many times. He could have a 10 second pass if he chose too. He ran 11.2 twice on the brakes bracket racing. He himself said he threw away some 10 second runs.
The dyno #s show he will run 10s.
Also, remeber Don is definately one of the fastest dailt driven Ls out there. All his runs are with the taigate (w/ that heavy-azz wing) on, stills runs his stock bumper, both seats...etc. Hell he even drives to the track (sometimes hundreds of miles away).
So when Don focuses on a 10 rest assured he will get one.

I'm not criticizing Don or what he has run or maybe might run. I like Don. Infact he runs about the same times my truck would run if I took off weight to match how much his truck weighs.
11.1 running a stock blower and no nitrous is not going to happen.

 

Look at the dates when this thread was first created and then when easterisland decided to dredge it back up to the top. 5 months has elapsed since the first post.

I brought the post back because I wanted to quote Jeremy so he couldn't go back and change what he said about using a stock blower on Kevins truck and him getting the low low 11 second passes.

If I could have done that w/o bringing the post back I would have.

My response has nothing to do with why the post was brought back up, it has to do with the flippant 2 word replies and other crap that you guys post - that add nothing constructive to the conversation.

Justin has already replied that the blower was stock. There are no conspiracy's here> And no reason to make up some alternate version of what may have happened

 

I'm not sure how I got involved in this thread, but I was just quoting what I was told over the phone back when I made that last post on 4/11, I did not see it run that weekend nor did I see any timeslips.

I do believe Kevin's truck did run low 11's with a stock blower at FFW Georgia. I personally witnessed it run a very, very low 11 at Englishtown with stock blower in the past, before it cracked into the 10's with a KB.

This advertised E.T. was correct, unlike some others I am aware of.

So what makes you the expert? Just because you can't make very low 11s doesn't mean those who know what they are doing are not able to make this happen with a stock blower.

Why do you figure somebody has to give you proof? This was back in April with cooler weather and better conditions.

I agree with Doug (hi Doug ) you seem to bring up old post cause you think you know what you are talking about.

 

No offense jarmstro, but this is what I dont like about some of JDM's claims. Don't think I am bashing, but they could say they ran a 9 and people say prove it, then it seems as though they ignore the thread. The thing that makes it so interesting is that Jeremy said that some of there other times were false.
