Sandblasted Headlights? For 01, 02, 03 Lightnings

On my last Lightning I noticed one day when I was washing it there appeared to be a little bit of sandblasting on the factory Diamond Gem headlights. Now I don' t know if it is the Canadian climate up here or if this is just common for all Lightnings. If it is is there a wax that you can safely apply. I notice the F-350 S/C company trucks I have are sandblasted on those headlights too.

Anyone else notice pitting in there headlights?

headlights look ok, but the front facia and the ground effects are another story , i know there is a headlight wax and paste u can get, but it was advertised for yellowing, not that kind of protection, only thing that can hold up to that, is the clear sheets that apply to the lights...

Thumbs up

I had it on my black 2000 but I didnt put it on the headlights. It works great to keep rock chips and the bugs from staining the paint. Now that my 2003 has clear headlights I want to keep them looking new. I bought the entire kit (hood, mirrors, grill, bumper, headlights and foglights) it was just over $400. I dont like the look of a bra on our trucks.
