16.5 street side
12 Nitrous side

However, I have been running my 75hp shot on my street side with 16 degrees of timing with no problems. I personally think that pulling 4 degrees for a 75hp wet shot is a little over cautious.

Jeff, you might as well ask to borrow a Million Bucks.
I've tried this time after time and no-one wants to tell.
My guess is most don't know.

My Nitrous Program is 13-15 Degrees of Timing
My Street/Race Program is 16-17 Degrees
This is my new JLP Tuned Diablo

My past 6 programs have been
15 Degrees on the Street
and
17 Degrees on the Race Side

Actually I shouldn't say that, my 1st was only 12-13 Degrees

All my programs are for Pump Gas, NONE HAVE EVER DETONATED, EVEN IN SUB ZERO TEMPS

Only Hank Tells,
SEE

Thanks Hankfan I think most of the Lightning people here are savy enough to want to know their timing.. Isn't stock 11?

I hope your wrong Rob... People should have an interest in what timing is on their chips. Granted they might not know what is good or bad but they still should know.. Hopefully all the tuners are straight up with the correct number when asked..

Sal posted previously that the 99-00 L's had 14 degrees of total timing at WOT and the 01-03 has 11 degrees of total timing at WOT. Not sure though why there is a diifference.

I have posted several questions before on suggestions on timing and it's effects on hp combined with nitrous and got zero replies. So I doubt you will get many replies here as well. Would be nice though if one of the tuners would give just some basic info on timing and it's effect on our L's!!!

Ya Hank, you can't say we haven't tried before, but your always there to help Bro

Your right on with the timing because my first program was 1 to 2 degrees advanced only to break in my L, and as you see above, it was 12-13 degrees. I installed it pretty much day one and used it to 3k, then I stepped it up, and then again at 5k.

Now at 10k, I'm just about as much up as I can go,
before it goes DOWN

I aint afraid of no stupid rods

You want to see a grown Man cry and go crazy,
be around the day that happens HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

Single program chip that stays in the truck all year round.
17 degrees of timing. Runs fine on 93 octane pump gas.

I don't know what my timing is set at on any of the three chips I have I will ship them to anyone that has a 'timing checker instrument' for a free check

scanner...

any OBD-II scanner will report timing.

Any good dyno shop should have a scanner laying around...
