First day of SVT School today!
Hi guys,
I just thought I'd share, I went to SVT school today. It is a two day classroom course. The instructor had to fly in from Nashville and his plane got sent to Cleveland or something so his Lightning won't be here until tomorrow, but he did have a Focus and an '03 Cobra.
We mostly covered the Focus today, but we did start on the Cobra late this afternoon.
The funniest thing was that we were watching a little movie about SVT and Jim from JDM was on it for a second being interviewed (looked like at the dragstrip) about what he thought about lightning trucks.
also funny was that there was alot of footage of Cobras and Lightnings dragracing in the video. even though we all know that stuff is a no-no

Hey Chris,
A friend of mine at my local dealer went to the same school about a month ago. He called me while I was at NMRA in Bradenton, FL on Saturday (his day off) telling me to hook my By-pass plug back up or I would blow my engine??? I still have it unplugged..
SVT told my friend to get feedback on mods from L owners and to not void the warranty of modded Lightning's unless he thought the mod caused the problem?? WTF
Ask if the 05L is coming with the Super Cooler (I've heard 30-40 seconds @ 50 additional hp, by diverting the intercooler flow through the A/C( freon). I've heard the 05L was coming out in June 04??
I was told the interview with Jim was at FFW Dallas last year??

Yeah it was at FFW last year. Ithought it was before Dallas but I might be wrong.
They wanted to interview lots of people, they claimed that the Video would not be used against the owners or SVT owners in general. The relaity is that since that video was taped they have turned down right NASTY about ANY mods... Good thing most of us stayed off the tape.
