Hello All
I need some help. I did not know if I should post this in the body section or here so I did in both.
Is the Flareside bed on the Lightning the same, except for the ground effects, on an F150? I was looking of Fordpartsonline and they do not list Lightning seperately. The just list w/ wheel opening and without wheel opening.
Hopefully some one will know the answer.

 

same bed bro. body kit is seperate.

 

Thanx I thought the beds where the same including the fenders.
Do you know what they mean by with wheel opening and without out?

I was looking in the parts catalog at work today,and they are different part numbers,If you like I can get part numbers for you

 

I did call him. He told me to come on one of the lightning forums and ask.

 

I think they are talking about the plastic trim on the wheel opening. 4x4s, Sports and Lariats etc... have this piece of trim but I am pretty sure Lightnings do not.
A Lightning would use the flarside bed of an XL or XLT 4x2.

I would think that is what is meant by "without wheel opening"

That is what I thought, but I wanted to make sure before I went and bought the wrong bed.
