when you say "the 3rd leaf", do you mean the 3rd leaf from the main leaf, or the 3rd leaf down from the smallest leaf

Yes, Which leaf; I heard that you would remove the "second from the bottom"

Bottom is closes to the ground, and top is closes to the bed(when the truck is sitting on wheels that is )

Sounds like if I wanted a moderate change in the ride hight that this would be the way to go and not shakles. Is this correct?

Also if I were to do shakles, then shims would be recommended to, is that correct?
