What is difference between STD and SAE numbers?

I have had my truck dynoed twice. Once it dynoed at 389 hp and 453 trq STD, and once at 364 hp and 435 SAE. How do you convert SAE to STD? And what is the difference? Thanks, Todd

The only way to convert SAE to STD or vice-versa is to use the Dyno-Jet software. If you have the computer files you can email them to me and I can convert them for ya.

They are just 2 different correction factors, nothing more. The one most people use is SAE.

Other correction factors......
DIN
EEC
Uncorrected
