100 octane
I am trying to find out how much Xlyene i will need to mix in with 10 gallons of 93 to get a 100 octane rateing? AND how much marvels i will need to add for lube? I have found info on searches BUT not the math on how to do it. Any help here guys

I am not getting any detnation at all on pump gas (93) BUT my A/F is 12.2 so i have been runnig some toluene to up the octane. BUT is it a waste of time since i dont get any detnation on just regular 93. I was going to mix up s 100 for the track to race on

[(x * 92) + (y * 114)] / (x + y) = z
[(x * 92) + (y * 114)] / (x + y) = z
Just change the '114' to '117' for zylene.
x = Amount of Pump Gas in Tank
y = Amount of Toluene
z = New Octane
I would also pour in at least 8 ozs. of Marvel Mystery Oil.......
(That formula came from FlashSVT.)
