EDIT, GOT MY TIMING RETARD ELIMINATOR TO REMOVE SPEED LIMITER, I WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO HIT 169 WITHOUT THE LIMITER REMOVED SINCE MY LAST POST, WITH THE LIMITER REMOVED TODAY, I HIT 178, WITH POSSIBLY 1 OR 2 MORE TO GO AS I HADN'T HIT THE REV LIMITER YET, BUT I HAD TO LET OUT AS I RAN OUT OF ROOM, NEW PIC NEXT TO THE OLD ONE

keep in mind, i am set up with pretty hefty drag race gearing, considering stock bikes can hit 192 with the limiter removed, i'm doing pretty good now!

stock, the 02's will pull 186 when it hits the limiter, my gearing is slowing me down,

i'm probably goint to get a TRE and remove the limiter in 6th, should give me another 7 to 9 mph even with my gearing

Doing this gave me no choice but to hire a lawyer. Don' t be stupid like I was, do this kind of speeding in a area were little patroling is done by the cops. To add insult to injury the ***** wrote the actual speed under the 160+ just so the Judge and Crown prosicuter would nail me to the wall.

i feel ya, the stretch i run is a 4 lane highway (not super busy), the last 3 mile stretch before the main highway is concrete barriered in the middle

what i will do is ride down the stretch i run, check it out, look for abnormalities, (i know the highway well, travel it 2 times a day every day) and get off the exit 1 block b4 the main highway (only exit), i'll come back down the opposite side, looking for any officers passing the opposite direction, once the barrier ends, i turn around to make the run

it would be physically impossible for any cops to be on my side of the highway when i make the run,

i typically will park and give a minimum of 20 seconds from when the last car passes me b4 i make my run

funny think last night, as i was siiting at the starting point, a cop pulled out of the side street that is at the beginning of the 3 mile mark, i continued to sit about 2 minutes, but aborted the run, i wanted to travel the stretch again and make sure he didn't stop ahead around the last bend, even though i can see pretty far, i take no chances

now, on the off chance that a cop is coming the other direction, the at the end of the 3 mile mark, where i hit the main highway, i am about 1 1/2 miles from the state line, lol

(Nevermind, just did the math. 1.5 miles to the State Line @ 160 mph, would take you about 35 seconds. It would take that long for the pilot to believe what he was seeing.)
