For a 4lb, you want to use a K080675 belt. You will still need to break the nub most likely, but that's just for extra throw to get the belt on. I DO NOT suggest using a smaller belt, as I feel it puts too much stress on the blower snout.

I've got a NAPA belt on my 4# and it fit perfectly without having to buss a nub.

Exactly.........if he doesn't get a new belt he needs to "bus da nub".

Yeah, you don't HAVE to break it off with the 67.5, but it makes life a ton easier, because it gives you a whole inch more throw to get the belt on.

I always just removed my idlers slid the belt over the blower snout then put the idlers back on.........easiest way I ever found to install really tight belts.

I am sure this is nothing new to you.

When I put my 4# on I bought the K080680 belt. Fit just like the K080670 did for the 2#.
