i am looking at a set of KMC VENOMS 18 in front 16x8 in back for the slicks so they match. they tell me the back rim comes close to the caliper, does any one have these wheels with 16x8 in back? any info or pics would be helpful .

 

I think it depends on the rim; some 16x8s will clear the calipers, others will not.

 

i was hoping to find someone who has the same ones. when i orderd the wheels KMC sAid they should fit the dealer said they should fit so i sent westn union and placed my order . theycall me back at 8.00ny time and tell me there is a chance the rim might scratch the caliper and you have to diegrind slightly. i was not happy to here that / but if i can make them work i am going to try because i think they are good looking rims. so in 2 or 3 weeks when i will no for shure. they said they would take them back if it dont work out. but as long as there not damaged and ihave to pay the shipping back. so im going to gamble and see if they fit. just thought maybe someone had the sameones for some info.

I don't have those wheels on my truck. I have Weld prostars 16x8. If you look in my photo gallery there are a couple of pics which show the distance between the wheel and rear caliper.
