Need input, Getting broken plug fixed...

Well, like my previous post said, the rear passenger plug snapped off in the head. The dealer here want's $1000 in labor. I could do it myself but don't have the time and don't really want to. Does anybody have any idea's on anything I should have done while the head is off and the upper end as well. Isn't there a new style head gasket that is supposed to be better. Anyone know the part number. Thanx guys!

If you have the $$$ you could do some cams and new valves.

Or you could always put on some bling valve covers. Polished or carbon fiber.
