Dale,
Which one are you looking at? Hot street or street/strip? I wish I knew about this stuff. Are the springs any good? How are the prices? I am about ready to gather up parts for heads. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am lookin at the XE262AH, I got my guy checkin to see how it is ground. I wouldn't mind having them advanced a little.

If you compare these to the modmax cams or even the Crower, they are much quicker opening cams.

Not bad, but a little weaker then the **** grind. I would honestly go with a 114deg lobe center for idle purposes but everything else on the hot side.

that cam that you choose it's not a very good sc profile. theres no sc oriented cams in that list as for opening the valves faster you must be reading the advertisement CROWER CAMS are computerized profiles too that are all ready tested & proved to work. DANTE

I'm just reading the numbers man, I'm makin direct comparisons just using the numbers provided.

****
The stock cam has 20* overlap at advertised duration wich I think the SAE number is .003 tappet lift. The Crower everyone is talking about comes in at 34* and the Comp is at 38*. Were it gets interesting is when you check the numbers at .050.
The Comp is much more intense.

Dante and I are quite familar with the Crower Cams as they used his truck to develop them. Compucams has a wee bit of work ahead of them but in due time, they will figure out the profiles. Im just trying to figure out why they went with a 113 lobe center on their hottest cam.

The comp cam wont touch the Dante' grind His are so aggressive, crower wont sell them.
