Bassani or Silver bullet....

Okay, I know it's been covered a million times....BUT, honestly, What do you guys like about your systems. Personally I think the Bassani has a smoother, deeper tone, would that be a fair assessment?? And the JDM seems more raspy, kinda tingy on the top end, but I like the tips better....so basically, what do you guys who have the systems say, are you pleased with the sound and quality??

Also, where's the best place to buy.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the repeat topic, looking for fresh info.

Ed

P.S. Please post sound clips if you have them.

Listen to both catbacks in person if you can. For my 500+ bucks that's the only way I'd be able to decide.

WaveBlaster,

Here is a link to a clip that was taken a while ago.

The exhaust sounds incredible under load. For $525 you cannot go wrong.

Thanks,

Justin@JDM

just go to summit and get the mufflers for 89 bucks each
..why pay the 500 + for the same stuff..and a few pipes you can have a exhaust shop make for half the price

I got in on the Christmas special and it took roughly 6 weeks to recieve my Silver Bullit. It was well worth the wait!

It's going to take WaveBlaster785 two days to get his Bassani. Thanks Ed!

I think that if you look into the manufacturing of each system you would pick the bassani hands down. I had the silver bullet and no disrespect intended but you couldnt give me another one, although I do like the tips of the silver bullet better. I have a freind that has a bassani and it sound quite impressive. Here is a fix buy the Bassani and go to your local shop and have them put on 4" magnaflow tips that is what I did.

my silver bullet is pretty damn loud, way way louder than stock, and the tips are awesome, install was ok, looks really good though, not much of a dorne while cruising either, hope this helps.

I love my Bassani headers/cat backs. They sound awesome, louder, deeper than stock, but not too loud, & not 'raspy.'

I don't know that I've heard Silver Bullets yet. Maybe I have & didn't know it.

Say, WaveBlaster, does your name have any relation to my WaveRunner or WaveRaider??

Depends, if you like drone, the JDM kit is definitly the way to go, its loud, not very throaty.
The tips discolor after a few hours driving...

The bassani is toned down a bit, not as loud, but has some grunt at idle. At normal driving the exhaust is there, but subtle, get on teh gas and WHAM its loud and awesome. The Bassani tips stay awesome.
