Western Chassis Hanger/E-Brake Question?

Me and my friend installed Western Chassis Hangers this weekend and now the emergency brake is tight as hell. The braket that used to attached to the stock hanger is to tight to fit the new hangers and I don't want to drill holes in the new hangers. Also we had to have a mechanic reroute the brake line below the leaf spring becuase the line was being pinched in the stock location above.

Is all this normal and what did you do to fix it?
Or am I just an idiot!

There is no mention of this probelm in the instruction that came with the hangers.

Hey-

Had the same problem...so no, you're not an idiot

I had to do the same things with my drop..I just tack welded the hanger and e-brake cable in a similar location. You could drill and bolt, but it's a kick in the b***s.

Put on rear sways yet? that's all kinds of fun too.

Good luck.

Thanks for the input, I was starting to go crazy there for alittle bit.
Did you also relocate you ebrake under the springs instead of ontop?
