Just back from Putnam, and if you haven't ever run a
real road race, you need to go try it out. It was AWESOME.

Unfortunately, it is going to cost me a new set of rotors
and pads on the front. (I can't believe you can go through
a set of NEW pads in a morning!!!)

Had a great day and the course is awesome, lot's of runnout
room and only one corner with guardrail (Pit entrance at
turn 10!)

Most of the road racers were AMAZED at how well the Lightning
performed even in it's current form with street tires. I can't
imagine what driving a "prepared" road truck woudl be like!!!

I got so much adrenaline going, I prolly won't sleep for hours.

Get some decent Road tires and you can smoke some respectable vehicles.

BFG used to sell R1A's that were GREAT but they stopped making them

I'm figuring I'll spend about $4000-5000 this year on the bare essentials (fares, tires, brakes, fluids) to run the courses this year. I'm looking at 8 or 9 events.

With Ky's Roush setup, what kind of "respectable cars" would he be able to smoke in autox with F1s??
Add some road racin tires, and what kinda cars would he be up there with??

I only ask because I plan on getting ROUSHED very soon!
