Headlamp question

not sure which bulb to use. is it okay to use sylvania 9007xv , they are 20 % brighter. just worried if they get hotter then just using the basic 9007 bulbs. Dont what to have a headlamp turning in to a foglamp cracking problem. thanks

Try the Sylvania Silver Stars. They are great and there is no problem with them over heating the head light len's. By the way I, use them in my fog lights also 9005's fit. Hope this help's. They are as close to HID's as you'll find with out paying $500 or more! Artie

9007 work great
9005 in fog's get pretty hot - believe they are double the wattage of the stock bulb _ so I leave them off until needed.

I run the silverstars and love em. the 9005 fogs are VERY bright i run them all the time when i have my lights on or parking light/fogs on. So far so good. With the 9005 fogs you dont even need the headlights on they are so bright.

You'd be hard pressed to crack your headlights...the danger would be roasting the wiring harness.
