Question about a JDM product I heard about last night

Last night at Towers I was told JDM has a new product that fits under the plenum. some sort of spacer that is supposed to give you .2 tenths in the 1/4.

Anybody have any info on this or tell me how to get a hold of someone who does? I looked on their website, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks,

Griffin

Than I got the brilliant idea to add 4:10's and the truck had slowed down to an 11.34@117. Well, this morning we put the 3:73's back in and a 5/8 inch thick phenolic spacer between the supercharger and upper plenum. The temperature was hotter out today than when we made the 11.23 run. Today's temp was 68 degrees and 44% humidity and about an 8 MPH headwind. When we made the 11.23 run it was 38 degrees and 36% humidity and about a 12 MPH headwind. Now that all the data has been displayed let's get to the good news. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords invited us to one of their closed track sessions at Raceway Park. We ran 11.10@118.86 and backed it up with an 11.14@118.92. On the first run we had a 1.51 60ft. time and the second run had a 1.54 60ft. time. The cool thing about the spacer is that the upper plenum never gets hot. The material that it's made out of doesn't allow the heat to transfer into the upper plenum. Here are some pics of the spacer below.

I have to say the owner of this truck Kevin White has been kind enough to give us his truck for the testing. I just want to give special thanks to a true Lightning enthusiast. Even though we are getting ready to put a bigger supercharger on his truck he has allowed us to use his truck as a test bed on our quest to run 10's on the stock blower. We are going to try to put the truck into the 10's this weekend with a more aggressive race tune since we ran 11.10 on a street tune. We will also be testing our new ram air kit to see if that will give us our magic 10.90 run. The ram air kit will be a race only ram air kit but it will be a *true* ram air kit that is a totally sealed unit. The phenolic spacers will be available for sale later next week.

Again, special thanks to Kevin for a being the Lighting enthusiast that he is. He's also a true friend to TeamJDM.

I don't think your going to get 2 tenths out of a spacer, but I can see more consistency from the fact that the upper plenum won't get hot, kinda like keeping a bag of ice on the upper plenum without actually having to do it. It does straighten out airflow into the blower and increase CFM a bit so I can see better throttle response, I doubt 2 tenths worth though, it's a great idea and hopefully it will(should) be cheap and easy to do.

It's definately going to be a worthy mod.

I made myself an aluminum spacer, but do to constantly forgetting to get longer screws I haven't installed it. But the aluminum will still transfer heat where as the phenolic spacer Jim will be selling won't, which is a great bonus.

I have a spacer which looks similar. It is on my KB blower. I'm not sure how much et reduction I get from it.
