temp sensor?

Does anyone have the part number or know what vehicle the temp sensor that comes with JDMs fan is from. I need to get one of these and would like to just go to a dealership and buy it rather than waiting for 3 or 4 days for it to come in.

Thanks guys.

It is a little more than just a temp sender, what temp sensor will do is send a different resistance through the tip varying on the temp it sees at the other end, the fan probes will short to ground the tip between a certain range, I think mine is at about 170-180. I don’t think auto manufactures use these, but is controlled by the computer, Murray’s will sell a type of this probe, but is not as nice, what it does is just sticks between the fins on the radiator.

My suggestion would be, just for the time being, is have the fans come on when the truck is running and order one up....

thanks for the help but I would really like to know where they get this sensor from. I know someone has to make them. I just thought since the JDM web site said the kit was made with genuine ford parts that this would be one of those parts.

Dyno-tron temperature sensor, TCS-35-180 internally grounded, if you run a 170'f thermostat, and TCS-35-170 if you run a 160'f
thermostat. About 22.00 bucks
