Now, I'm not one to "Jone's it up" and brag, but I think I got you beat on the payroll #s.

Ughhh... Lets all turn on our sarcasm sensors, calibrate them... Ok Here we go .... I am a volunteer.... The $125k was a joke.

If you are in IT and making $$ in the top 4% then you are either very lucky or are very likely to be replaced by a team of $2 an hour workers in India...

Quality man for BMW, where we build X5's and Z4's.
One of the 10 most hated people in the plant for tracking quality issues back to the assembly and paint areas.

Question?

How do you go from Gene Simmons on Jenny Craig, to Ron Jeremy with an Epilady cranium treatment, in less than one lifetime?

I don't work....
Well, actually, that's not exactly true.

I went thru a big mid-life crisis after 22 years in the entertainment industry (post-production) and decided to change careers. I've taken the last 2-1/2 years off and wnet to grad school. I just graduated this past December with an M.A. in applied psychology. I am now an intern (in other words, I don't get paid) and racking up my hours for state licensure. I'll be going into private practice as a psycho-therapist.

Kinda werid starting over at age 44. Having a great time though.

Doug,

To be honest, the pay is there, but you have to travel for it. The truth is, alot of times, it isn't worth it...living in a hotel room 18 hours away from home for 4-months at a time through T-Giving and Christmas and deer-season back home.

Oh BTW, I'm rolling off my current consulting engagement as of today to pick-up another gig in Dallas (just be looking for a red '02 L around Plano/Frisco soon ) Also, my "last" company is cleaning house of all the Hindi too.
