Long tubes with Mac Catback

I'm thinking about going ahead and bying a set of long tubes and midpipes and use my existing Mac Catback. I was wondering if anyone had this setup already and what there thoughts are on it?
Thanks Mike

I have Magnaflows, but there should be no reason to throw out your Macs.
I know if I already had them, I'd use them.

they sound different than the Magnaflows bud... I have JDM long tubes and the MAC catback setup... it's a deeper rumble... for one, it's a baffled chamber muffler so it will sound different than the straight through Magnaflows... You will hear a cackle too when you give it a lot of throttle... that's the baffling.

I just put JDM ported heads and cams on and I think it's too loud now ... .for me anyway. So I may tone it down with the more refined magnaflow sound... It rattles my baffles too easily now. Alarms go off everywhere... my neighbors lights come on when I come home late at night... you can literally feel it pounding on your chest if you stand behind the exhaust

just my 2 cents... cheers

Im talking about the MAGNAFLOW Catback, not the Silver Bullet catback... 2 totally different systems.

Mag uses a single dual in and out muffler like mac tried to copy, JDM has the Magnapaks. Majority go for the Magnapak option on JDM's catback over his single dual in/out it seems on the boards.

I have the Mac cat back and long tubes. The sound is between the Magnaflows and the Bassani. For me the sound is great. Very little drone and loud when you are WOT.

The Dynatech longtubes are on the way to us and are specifically designed to bolt up to any catback system that bolts up to the existing catalytic converter. They come with high flow cats and are all stainless steel.

Sounds like this is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the longtubes and midpipes today. I hope I like the sound. I have a different that I will buy in the future but I was wondering what thoughts were on my setup.

Tim sorry but I had already ordered them. Thanks for the reply though.
