That hood completes the Lightnings overall appearance. The Harley is more truck looking. I guess thats why it looks out of place to me on it.

Does anyone know if that hood is functional to any degree?

the keystone hood is weird. In the pics it usually looks bad, or only okay, but very few pics it actually looks great.

You have to see the hood in person to tell if you really like it or not. I NEVER liked the keystone before, thought it was one ugly azz hood, UNTIL i saw it on sue's truck at cecil on saturday. and damn is that one awsome hood!!!!! Looks totally different in person than the pics make it look.

And that pic posted of sue's HD is a really bad angle, here's a few better pics of the hood, but even still, doesn't look as good as in person.

also, another reason why i'm getting the keystone is too many people have the cervini's. I still love the design of the cervini's, but the Keystone is just something different from the everyday norm.

I got a Black Truck with no hood scoop
and your selling a Black Hood with a Scoop

I think we need to talk,
Sounds like you got too much money in it though,
If the price is right, and you happen to be heading to Cecil April 12th, I could just happen to leave my Hood home and meet you there

BTW

I like the new hood you picked out

Summit Racing -

In stock ships same day according to the sales droid this is the functional hood - price (find that hard to believe) = $599.00 + $7.00 handling charge + $60.00 shipping in US

Total to the door ='s $667.00

Thanks for that info!!!

what would "truck freight terminal pickup" be? i have to pick the hood up from a Shipping company place? where as "delievered to door" would come right to my house?

Sonic,

I think REM still has some Pro Glass hoods left, but when those are gone, there gone.

You may already know this, but Pro Glass has gotten out of the hood market.

True but -

Keystone has purchased all of Terry's molds and sometime in May will start mass producing the 'Pro Glass Cowl hood' under the Keystone name - only difference will be drilled windshield washer nozzle holes... But I have decided to go with the Keystone ram air hood...

Ordered the hood earlier today

As for the washer squirters....one of the reasons i liked my cervini's so much is cuz the squirters were hidden mount between the cowl and back of the hood. The keystone are stock squirters. I'm just going to get them shaved off anyway...rarely use it and the stock ones look ugly, unless i can fab up a way to mount the cervini's setup onto the keystone.

my cervini's hood is officially sold now also. Guy came by today with a 03 HD to check it out....got a 100 $ down payment, he's coming back saturday or sunday and i'm gonna swap hoods and get the other 600 bucks.

Can't wait until the keystone gets here!

On the squirters ...

Easy fix - Go to GM dealer and order the clip on mounts (GM has a plastic clip on nozzles - clips on to the metal wiper arm) Then just get some longer tubing with a T fitting connect it to the old tubing and run it up under the black wiper cowl at the bottom of the wiper arm there's a hole to fit the tubing through. Run it up behind the spring on the wiper arm connect it and it works better than the stock nozzles...

Anyone with a Pro Glass Cowl has to do this as there's no mount for any wiper nozzles...
