thinking about NSX
hey i am thinking about nsx in my 2000 stock L i don't know much about them do ya'll have any suggestions about it please tell me how you like it and don't like and do ya'll know the cost of them...chris
From what i have heard they are one of the most rewarding cars to drive. Everything is perfictly balanced. The build quality is top notch (not even the same class as anything ford makes)
My buddy has one with a Eaton on it too
With the eaton blower kit it runs mid 12's all day long.
If you can afford it grab one. I wish i could.

Very well-balanced and the quality rivals some of the best German and Italian cars of the world.
HOWEVER, I still believe it is overpriced for which the market it contends in. And I personally do not like the looks that much.
For that much I would look to the new Viper Competition Coupe coming out. From what I've read, it is an extreme fine piece of machinery for the price, both in the twisties and straight line.
Also, for that price you could keep your Lightning and buy a Z06 straight up.

Ever tried pushing a mid engine car to its limits on a open track? Not very rewarding. Besides, the car is severely under powered although it is all alumn.
I worked for Acura back in 88-90 and was one of the only certified NSX tech's in my area. They are nice cars but their styling is dated and underpowered for the price. In 1993, they were supposed to come turbo charged. However, they had some challenges that would of increased the pricing to the mid $70K mark because of the torque began to affect the frame.
Theres plenty of better options out there. One of them being, a Vette.

NSX = Acura mid-engine sports coupe
NOS = Nitrous Oxide Systems®
N20 = Nitrous periodical symbol
Holy trolling threads batman. If you are having that much trouble with identifying the correct name for the modification, I would stick to BMX bikes, and leave the Nitrous for the other guys!
