Sorry didn't see your post or I wouldn't have made a new one.
I just did mine idler bearings.

I used a dab of Amsoil synthetic marine. Don't pack them full they will run hot if you do.

Torque was one grunt! About 10 pounds.

I found the same thread, I just wasn't sure what grease was going to be good and if it was something I could buy locally at NAPA or something else.
