After 2 weekends in a row, the local track here did not open again.
Is there a 1/4 mile track anywhere near this area of Ohio that
is going to be open this coming weekend, March 29 and 30th.
I am willing to travel several hours if necessary. I need to get
some runs in.
Anyone?

I think I will look down South, maybe in the Kentucky, or Virgina area and see whats up for this weekend. Maybe take Friday off and just get away for a weekend of test and tune.

check Edgewater or Tristate, around Cinci. National Trail opens the 1st weekend in April. Kilkare in Xenia is open now on Sat. now for tnt.

How's the track at Kil-Kare? I see they are open this Thursday night for T/T. Might drive down there if the track is good.

Kilkare is almost as good as Norwalk on the hook. It is better than National trail. The bad thing is it is usually packed on Thursday nights, 2 runs if you don't hot lap.

Why not drive out to the fastest track in the US.........or are you limiting the drive to a couple hours instead of several hours.

it is still crowded but you can get more than 2 passes. 4-6 passes. You know how it is , all depends on how many people are breaking.

Well 8 hours is a long drive, but I read a lot of good things about that track. It appears their season has begun already as the phone message I heard claimed their having an F-body shoot out this Saturday, and a full bracket program Sunday. AND, the weather forecast for that area calls for clouds only this weekend with only a 10% chance of rain.
Sounds interesting to say the least.
