If you didn't have to fill holes, I would have removed mine the day I bought it. You can easily put them back on if you like.

The only problem I see with removing the badges is matching the silver paint, it can be a nightmare... experience speaking here

That was back when I was doing the mod with the badges off, I don't like it at all.
