Anyone have a writeup on removing a leaf spring?

I want to remove a leaf spring, and im almost positive on how to do it. If anything, I can figure it out as I go and make my own writeup. Does anyone have one already? Or can explain how to do it, and what leaf to remove? Thanks.

Some people remove a leaf from the stack of springs in the 'leaf spring' to lower the truck 1" in the back. Anyone know which of the leaf's to remove?

leafs are easy to remove, but for some reason my passenger side leaf bolts were tight as hell, i was jumping on a breaker bar with a 3 foot extension and it still wouldn't break, but finally got it off after two of us were on it, the drivers side popped right off

Where do I place the jack stands once my wheels are off, so I take the tension off the leaf's to take em out?

If I remember correctly I placed my jackstands(very tall ones) on the rear frame just in front of the frontmost hanger bolt. then put the jack under the pumpkind with just enough tension to support it.
