I have the 404's on my truck.
Plusses:
Tall sidewalls increase ground clearance. No more curb-scraping
Tall sidewalls fill up wheel wells. Looks good
Tires dont rub on stock or w/ 2in rear drop.
Equivalent traction to F1s
Better tire life than F1s by about 30%
Thicker sidewalls reduces the chance of curbing one to death
Minuses:
Hard tire compound launches poorly
Tall sidewalls reduce cornering effectiveness and increase roll
May not fit on aggressively lowered trucks
